If you are out tonight take a few minutes to watch the sky. Should be a great meteor show tonight!

It was an OK shower. I went to an awesome place for viewing. The moon was not out. The milky way was very distinct. There was not a cloud in the sky. We saw about 2 or 3 dozen shooting stars, much less than the fantastic trip we had last year. My brother and his family were visiting so it was a real vacation and loads of fun.

 Shocked

On a similar note... News reports earlier, from Chile, exclaim than an Alien Planet, aptly named HIP-13044b,
was recently discovered!

"This new discovery is very exciting. A planetary system of extragalactic origin!"

Further mentioned; "This brings an  extragalactic planet, for the first time, within our reach!"

And, and...to think, it's only 2,000 light years from earth.   Cry

Within our reach.....really?

Astronomers.... 'Ya gotta love 'em.... Roll Eyes
