I used to love watching Hee Haw. It's funny how some people live for so long eating what many in today's society consider bad for your health. My grandparents and older relatives always ate a well-rounded filling meal of meat, fresh vegetables, milk and biscuits or other breads. Most of it was probably local and freshly made unlike the processed foods we eat today. As far as vegetables, I always have fresh vegetables from my garden or from the local farmers market.
