Got any?

I acquired some old Wayte Raymond coin albums. They are reputed to tone coins very nicely. Mine must be used up because I'm getting no reaction at all.

I did put some proof Jeffs between colored tissue paper with the result below. Shocked I owe someone a nickel (they overpaid) and this is how they will get their nickel back. Smiley

I have 2 Wayte Raymond album pages. They will each hold eight Morgan sized coins.  I put 2 cleaned Walkers, two 1982 Washington proofs,
and 2 cleaned Morgans, into six of the eight holes.  It has been 7 months; I see absolutely zero change in any of them.

Actually, one of the proof Wash Commemoratives, reverse, about 5 O'clock, now looks as tho someone used a small pencil eraser, erasing
an area that now shows copper?  I do not recall seeing it before!  Strange, very strange...

Holy Toledo!!!! Now that I have the two Wash Comms side-by-side, I see more differences in them.  Either one of them is
a darn BU minting, that exhibits super proof-like finish, or....or, it's indeed a proof, but w/o a lick of cameo... The ground beneath
the white house? is smooth, whereas it looks normal, rocky, on the other half... Hmmm?  Wonder what I have...

I have a PCGS proof stashed in my SDB.  I will retrieve it, and compare the three.  What did the old radio story tellers say to their
audience when a radio serial was to be continued?  "Tune in again tomorrow, for another exciting episode of Let George Do it.."

 Tongue

Well..After bouncing the two against a PCGS PR69DC, I have come to the conclusion that the D issue was somehow struck DMPL, but
w/o any cameo contrast.  The S issue is the one having the "rubbed" spot, showing a copper look underneath.  This confuses me, cause
these puppies are 90% silver..  The Madison, being the ONLY other modern 50c comm, minted in silver.. Shocked

And so it goes....
