That's a pretty good way to trick ebay buyers too.  Just add a little color and wala a missing clad layer.  Your grandpa's? I don't think so.

So others know what are you asking for the coin that you say is yours?

The coin isn't even his! He merely STOLE the image from here: http://www.jetproofs.com/error_coins.htm and recolored it.

Well, if you do try to sell this, I hope that the buyer reports you to the Better Business Bureau, because this coin is NOT yours, and it is NOT in your possession, because you STOLE the image from here: http://www.jetproofs.com/error_coins.htm

If someone did buy this from you, they would be scammed, because they would receive NOTHING, as this coin is NOT yours. It belongs to Jetproofs. You are a TROLL, a SPAMMER, a RACIST, a THEIF, and you have been banned from many other forums for all of the above reasons. As such, your IP address should be PERMANENTLY banned from this forum.

I was thinking the same thing.  Would if he did sell it to someone here on this forum and could not produce the coin because he lifted the picture off another site,  what would be the responsibility of the owner of this forum site by allowing such a thing?

In the event that a similar sale situation did arise on this forum, I do not believe the owner of this site can be held, in any way,  responsible.  I mean, gimmie a break.
Whoever Carl is, I'm sure he hasn't resources to make members whole, after having been scammed on his site! We must remember that old saying; something
about "Let the buyer Beware?" something like that, anyway...   There are countless scam artists about, especially in our hobby.  We must always watch for red
flags, offers that seem too good to be true, and we must pay, at least some, attention to those who volunteer for the "Coin Posse."
I wish to thank those forum members who researched the recent state quarter fiasco....  Good Work!

There are some people that think it's ok to do the things this member has done.  you could even get one's self banned for reporting it.  Anyway to get the mods. attention I will use, even the comment I made above (although likely hood of it happening is slim).
