I have 2 Indian Head Cent lots listed this week. One has about 60 coins, the other has 19 + two bonus coins. The items all came in one group. I separated them by date. For each date I picked the nicest coin. In the few cases where there was only one coin for a particular date it got into the 19 coin lot.
I thought the lot with nicer coins and more dates would bring higher bids, but I was wrong (at least so far).
It isn't like they are silver or anything where the entire value is in the metal content....
