Newbies can't post to the B/S/T. You need 10 posts for that permission.

I think the following should be shown in the HELP section to make it easier for newbies to quickly understand the basic ground rules:

As you post more you will get more permissions.


Member Group -    Posts -    Privilege
Guests      Can browse but not post
Newbie   0   Permission to post
Beginner   10   Can post to the B/S/T
Hoarder   50   Create Calendar events
Collector   150   Power to change Karma
Expert   500   Access to private Experts board
Numismatist   1000   Ability to edit custom title
