Most of you have read lots of threads discussing the merits of various grading services. Perhaps you have even participated in some.

I just sold a nice group of proof Lincolns. The ICG was graded PR 70 RD while the other two were both graded PR 67 RD. The coins were a nice match and looked good together.
So does that mean ICG is horrible while NGC and PCGS are exactly the same? Of course not. This is just one tiny observation. ICG does much better when you get away from the superb and higher grades. I mean there is no way in the world that coin was perfect, no way at all. It looked good as a 67, I could even see it in a 66 holder.
The NGC and PCGS coins were pretty close but the coins were not exactly the same either. I saw nothing there that changes my general opinion that PCGS grades to a slightly tougher standard than NGC does in many scenarios.
