This spectacular Gold Buffalo looks perfect to me. The
classic Buffalo design produced by Fraser for the nickel in 1913 looks great
on this large gold coin. Produced at the West Point Mint this heavy coin
contains 1 troy ounce of very pure gold. The US Mint produced this coin to
celebrate the 2008 Lunar New Year. From the US Mint website "By law, the
gold for United States Mint American Buffalo Gold Bullion Coins must be
taken from newly mined sources in America. They are struck at the United
States Mint at West Point, New York. While struck at West Point, American
Buffalo Gold Bullion Coins do not have a mint mark." So far this is the
lowest mintage $50 Gold Buffalo. $2,025 |
